Explora I Delivered Ahead of New Maiden Journey

Explora Journeys has announced the delivery of its flagship vessel, Explora I.

The ship has been under construction at the Fincantieri shipyard in Italy since June 2021 and was signed over at a special event attended by Gianluigi Aponte, the Founder and Chairman of Explora Journeys’ parent brand, MSC, along with representatives from Fincantieri.

Explora Journeys CEO Michael Ungerer also attended, commenting how the traditional maritime moment marked a new chapter for the new luxury cruise operator.

Promoting the Ocean State of Mind has remained a cornerstone of Explora Journeys’ mission statement, encompassing everything from the luxurious ‘oceanfront’ suites to the exceptional health and wellness facilities.
