Crystal Cruises Announces 2024 ‘Chairmen’s Cruise’

Crystal Cruises has announced the ‘Crystal Chairmen’s Cruise’, which is due to go ahead on 2 April 2024 for six nights aboard Crystal Symphony from Jeddah to Rhodes. Guests can sail alongside Abercrombie & Kent’s Founder and Chairman, Emeritus Geoffrey Kent and A&K Travel Group Executive Chairman Manfredi Lefebvre.

The cruise will depart from Jeddah, cruising along the coastlines of the Middle East through the Suez Canal before ending on a high in Rhodes. This opportunity allows guests to learn from two industry experts as well as the opportunity to engage with both Kent and Lefebvre. Guests can also attend special lectures, exclusive meet-and-greets and interactive discussions.

Mr Kent and Mr Lefebvre will join a limited-availability pre-cruise trip to AIUIa in Saudi Arabia. This optional 5-day overland experience is hosted and curated by Abercrombie & Kent’s guides, offering a window into the Middle East’s heritage. This includes visiting Saudi Arabia’s UNESCO World Heritage Site, Elephant Rock and Hegra and an exclusive dinner on the final night by two luminaries.

Exclusive Onboard Activities

What comes with the ‘Crystal Chairmen’s Cruise’ will include a special lecture from Kent where he will share stories in the travel industry, which spans more than 60 years, alongside a curated program of onboard activities.

Crystal also welcomes Peter Maeck, the author of ‘Aperture’ and Zanker’, Artist Martin Kyne, Dennies Curran, known for his political speaking career and Sabrina Aloueche, an English musical theatre actress.

Guests will also be able to enjoy cabaret shows, ‘Crystal on Broadway’, ‘Icons in Concert’ and the Elton John tribute ‘Rocket Man’. There is also the option for guests to enrol in technology and enrichment classes, as well as ballroom and gold instruction classes.
